■ pool — The Data Infrastructure for Resource Circulation
pool is the data infrastructure supporting urban resource circulation, connecting weighing, collection and transport, data logging, and recycling end-to-end at the level of each tenant, department, building, and district.
By linking waste weighing, collection and transport, and processing and recycling — historically siloed processes — on a single data platform, pool delivers three kinds of value:
- Incentive design: pay-as-you-discharge billing based on weighing data
- Maximum load efficiency: route optimization enabled by real-time visibility into discharge status ahead of collection
- Data trust: end-to-end traceability from discharge to recycling, generating tamper-resistant ESG data
We've built a structure in which waste generators, haulers, and offtakers all realize these three kinds of value simultaneously, on the same data foundation.
Following citywide rollout across 1,200 facilities in Yokohama, and pilots and full deployments with major commercial facilities and multiple leading real estate developers, pool is now positioned as the core infrastructure for the industrial shift captured in "Turning great consumers into great suppliers."
