Sessions featuring RECOTECH (September 4)
Business Sector Session (9:30-11:00)
"Industrial Transformation toward the Circular Economy and the Role of Cities — What Do Companies Driving the Circular Economy Ask of Cities?"
Companies implementing circularity across manufacturing, construction, packaging, and digital transformation will discuss the front line of circular business and what they need from cities. RECOTECH speaks alongside Takenaka Corporation, Yamaha Motor, and Tetra Pak Japan.
Public-Private Dialogue Session (11:15-12:45)
"Aligning Municipal Policy and Business Activity to Accelerate the Circular Economy — Public Procurement, Supply Chain Development, and Advanced Resource Circulation"
Building on the Business Sector Session, this dialogue examines how municipal market-building — public procurement and policy, supply chain development support, and advanced resource circulation — can connect with business practice. RECOTECH joins Taisei Corporation, Dassault Systèmes, and the City of Yokohama (Housing and Architecture Bureau, Economic Affairs Bureau, and Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau).
Through pool, its data infrastructure for resource circulation, RECOTECH works with the City of Yokohama and other municipal and corporate partners on urban resource circulation. At the forum, we will speak on how a city implements a new infrastructure for urban resources, drawing on what we have learned running pool.
